Victoria Hotel Pickup
Description
This full-day eco-excursion reveals the contrasting faces of Vancouver Island’s natural and cultural heritage. Begin with hotel pickup in Victoria and drive to Goldstream Provincial Park, where centuries-old trees shade salmon-filled streams and a canyon waterfall tumbles through basalt walls. Continue along the Malahat Highway to the SkyWalk, a 250-meter-high spiral tower overlooking the Saanich Inlet and Olympic Mountains. After enjoying panoramic views—and perhaps a thrilling slide descent—stop for a guided picnic at Esquimalt Lagoon, a haven for seabirds and driftwood art. End your journey at Hatley Castle, a stately 1908 mansion surrounded by gardens and ocean vistas. An optional castle interior visit adds history to a day steeped in nature, sustainability, and local storytelling.
