At TourCastles.com, we recognize that plans can shift, itineraries can change, and sometimes travel dreams must wait. The following policy explains how cancellations, reschedules, and refunds are managed when you book castle tours, admission tickets, or travel experiences through our website or our support team.
1. General Policy
TourCastles.com operates as a booking marketplace that connects travelers with licensed, independent tour operators, museums, and cultural organizations. When you reserve a tour, ticket, or experience, your booking is made directly with that operator. Each partner sets its own cancellation and refund terms, which are clearly displayed at checkout and in your confirmation email.
2. Standard Tour Bookings
Cancellation Window: Most castle tours, tickets, and day experiences allow free cancellation within 24–72 hours before the scheduled start time. Some may vary depending on local regulations or event demand.
Refunds: Refunds are issued by the individual operator and typically return to your original payment method within 5–10 business days once the cancellation is confirmed.
Weather & Site Closures: If your tour or admission is canceled due to severe weather, safety conditions, or temporary site closures (such as restoration work or government restrictions), the operator will offer to reschedule or issue a refund according to their policy.
No-Shows: Guests who miss their confirmed tour or entry time without advance notice are generally not eligible for refunds.
3. Packages & Custom Arrangements
If you’ve booked a custom itinerary or multi-site package through one of our agents:
Cancellation Window: Cancellations are permitted up to 72 hours before the first scheduled activity.
Private Tours & Group Charters: Some private or exclusive experiences require a 96-hour notice or more.
Refunds: When approved, refunds are processed directly by the TourCastles team and returned to the original payment method.
Trip Insurance: We strongly recommend adding travel insurance during checkout to protect against unforeseen changes, such as illness, weather delays, or missed connections.
4. How to Cancel or Reschedule
Direct Bookings: Use the link or contact information included in your confirmation email from the operator.

Refund eligibility and processing time are determined by the vendor’s terms.
Multi-day or multi-country itineraries may involve several partners, each with its own cancellation window.
TourCastles.com is not responsible for fees, penalties, or rate differences applied by third-party vendors outside the stated window.
